Illusion of Abundance film at GLINT 2024 – Glisten

Brolly Arts is thrilled to have our Illusion of Abundance film screened as part of Westminster University’s GLINT 2024 – Glisten project October 25 and 26, 2024. GLINT 2024 – Glisten portrays the multifaceted perceptions of water in various environments, reflecting its beauty, power, and vulnerability as a sustaining resource. Glisten features Utah-based artists as they consider how water shapes our inner and outer landscapes, creating dialogues between moving imagery and fixed architecture.

GLINT is an annual video installation project by the Westminster Dance program that presents original screen dance works by students, faculty, and community artists projected on the architecture and landscape of Westminster’s campus. The accessible path is approximately .3 miles in length and allows audiences to engage with the work in a gallery style that can be enjoyed at your own pace. GLINT aims to enhance engagement for patrons by integrating accessible tools of audio description, mobility considerations, self-paced interaction, and content information related to the screen dance being projected.

Featured screendance artists in GLINT 2024 – Glisten include Brolly Arts, Rachel Barker, Michaela Gerard, Kara Komarnitsky, Dmitri Peskov, Carly Schaub, and Meghan Wall. Carly S
chaub serves as the artistic director for GLINT 2024 – Glisten.
