On September 26, 2024, Brolly Arts, Salt Lake City Public Art Program, NeighborWorks and Fairpark Community Council hosted a celebration of the restored “Bridges Over Barriers” mural under the 300 N I-15 underpass. Brolly Arts was commissioned to restore, update and bring to life the two large scale murals of Father Time and Mother Earth. These murals along with mosaic columns were originally created during 2005-2012 to bridge divided communities. Amy MacDonald, Founder and Director of Brolly Arts, was one of the original artists on the project and was honored to lead this restoration project with a group of talented artists who live in the area. They are Jessie Thomas, Matt Monsoon and Brooklyn Ottens.
